Minneapolis Public Schools District is dedicated to ensuring a fair and equitable discipline process for all students and families. MPS entered into agreement with The United States Department of Education Office of Civil Rights (OCR) to ensure the implementation of the District’s policies concerning discipline which is fair and equitable (OCR Resolution Agreement #05-12-2001) and a process to respond and provide support with possible concerns. The Positive School Wide Engagement District Program Facilitators assist the schools in maintaining equitable practices in regard to discipline and maintaining a safe and healthy school climate. If you have questions/concerns about any part of the discipline process or outcome your student received, please complete the survey below and we will follow-up with you to discuss possible next steps in collaboration with school leadership.
